Best Weekend Ever

I know I have been slacking lately about posting, but this weekend is inspiring me. First off tomorrow is the first day of Autumn! Best season ever. But there is also a ton of awesomeness going on in the city.

Greek Food Festival

GREEK FOOD! What more can I say. Stuff yourself with gyros, souvlaki, baklava, and more deliciousness. Check it at all day Friday and Saturday at the Greek Community Center. 674 42nd St. View the menu here.

The Front Climbing  Gym

On Saturday from 10am-4pm, the Front will be offering free rock climbing + free equipment rental and basic safety instructions. Find more info here.

Harvest Moon Festival

It’s the tenth annual celebration complete with kids’ activities, live music, beer and more. Mosey on down all day Saturday on Historic 25th St. Visit the website here.

5k Foam Fest

Check out this sudsy race at Fort Buenaventura Park on Friday and Saturday. Run 3.1 miles in a sea of foam through watery obstacles, like slip n slides. Registration is $40. Click here for more details.

Kangaroo Zoo

Kangaroo Zoo is the latest addition to Ogden’s wonderful assortment of kids’ activity places. If you haven’t tried it out yet, it is a super fun bounce house arena with 12 inflatable attractions for kids ages 1 and up. Admission is only $7.99/child 3 & up and $5/ child 2 & under. Friday, Saturday, and holiday admission is $8.99/ child 3 & up. Parents are free to watch, but don’t forget socks for the kids (they are required for play).
